Cloud went on a year-long journey, leaving Tifa waiting for her man to come back. What none of them knew is that a random resident of the same city (and a "fan" of Tifa) found a very unusual materia: one that let him implant false memories. So while Cloud is away, he uses the materia to change Tifa's memories and make her think he is actually Cloud. He now has a whole year of having Tifa all for himself...
